Job Role


  • Assisting in tendering and quoting for jobs
  • Opening supplier accounts and ensuring the supplier accounts information is kept up to date
  • Ordering equipment as and when required
  • Applications for accreditations and memberships
  • Sending out PPM schedules and recording PPM schedules
  • Issuing PPM summary reports
  • Processing additional work request forms and material request forms
  • Arranging jobs with clients
  • Booking in subcontractors
  • Assisting in the management of health and safety
  • General assistance and duties


  • Processing sales invoices – ensuring they are logged and sent in a timely manner
  • Providing monthly statements to clients of outstanding invoices
  • Chasing outstanding invoices – including sending reminder letters as and when required
  • Process purchase invoices – ensuring they are logged on the system
  • Assistance with VAT Returns
  • Assistance with year-end accounts


CIS Scheme

  • Obtaining the relevant paperwork from new sub-contractors
  • Verifying new sub-contractors with the accountants
  • Sending CIS return statements to the relevant sub-contractors monthly
  • Ensuring that the contact details of sub-contractors are kept up to date
  • Ensuring that up-to-date insurance certificates are on file for sub-contractors


  • Sending out marketing mailshots
  • Updating the marketing spreadsheet


  • £18,000 to £25,000 per annum subject to experience and hours worked
  • 25 – 35 hours per week
  • Up to 22 days holiday per annum

Candidate Requirements

Previous administration / office experience

GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
