Molteno House

The mechanical installation consisted of comfort cooling and heating throughout the office areas and reception, toilet extract ventilation and domestic hot and cold services.

Independent variable refrigerant volume (VRF) systems have been installed with each system serving a floor. The systems provide cooling, heating and filtration to the main open office areas. An independent split air conditioning system has been installed for the reception. This system provides cooling, heating and filtration.

Mechanical extract was provided to the toilets and showers consisting of 2 x Nuaire extract fans per floor.

New hot and cold-water pipework has been installed throughout except for the incoming mains that is existing. Hot water is provided by means of a local water heater on each floor. New above ground drainage systems have been installed to serve the all WCs and shower rooms.
